About WARN Factory Refurbished Products

WARN Factory Refurbished products are items that have been completely refurbished by WARN and come with the full WARN Factory warranty. Quantities are limited to stock on hand, and are a tremendous value!

The reasons a product may be refurbished are varied.

• Some items are obsolete and no longer carried in the WARN catalog. These items are brand-new but can't be sold as new since they are no longer listed in the catalog, so they are instead returned to WARN by all dealers that may have had them on their shelves before they became obsolete, and now are sold as factory refurbished.
• Some items may not have passed WARN's cosmetic inspections; things like a chip in the finish or a run in the paint, which do not affect the structural integrity of the product.
• Some items may have been incorrectly ordered by a customer and returned to the dealer.  The dealer then returns the product to WARN, where it is inspected and tested to make sure it still meets WARN's strict quality standards and then the item is repackaged and sold as refurbished.
• Some parts may have been missing when a customer received the product.  The dealer then returns the product to WARN, where missing parts are replaced.  The product is inspected and tested to make sure it still meets WARN's strict quality standards and then the item is repackaged and sold as refurbished.

"How can I tell if a WARN product in your catalog is Factory Refurbished?"

In our online catalog, refurbished items are distinguished from new items with an R in their part numbers, as in WAR601000R for remanufactured vs. WAR601000 for new. Also, the manufacturer is listed as "WARN Fact. Refurb'd."
